Event Description

About the Play…

With only five years left on a 25-year prison sentence, the one thing that keeps Townsend alive are the visits from his wife. But when a fire breaks out in an overcrowded prison, forcing two inmates to join him in his cell.  Jasper, a pious man with no remorse for the true crime he hides is convinced his purpose is to minister to the other prisoners.  Train, a sociopath, playing one for the other and manipulating everyone around him while using the prison system as is best tool.

All Townsend wants is his space back, a place to hunker down and ride out the last years of his sentence. But as Jasper struggles with his faith, Train holds information that threatens Jasper’s survival in this penitentiary.  All the while, the sins of Townsend’s past pay him a visit, settling a debt. His last five years become jeopardized, his privacy invaded as Train tries to pull him into his scheme.

An explosion is brewing. The only question: Who will be left standing?
