Event Description

The Resiliency Training mandate for African American Male Students is to increase Self-Awareness, Self-Advocacy, and Mindful Activities to overcome, reduce and prevent anxiety and negative behaviors, while increasing School Engagement, and Academic Performance.

Our team of Educators, Counselors and Academic Coaches are excited to equip African American Middle and High school boys and teens with practical Life Skills, Communication, and Organizational Skills.  Topics and activities include Wellness for Life’s Challenges. Stress Mgmt, Advanced Communication Skills, Mindfulness, Fitness, Academic Coaching, Arts & Cultural Knowledge, Nutrition, Communication, Writing, and Math.

Cultural Connections are enhanced by guests, artists and field trips.  We intentionally limit our enrollment so that our students have a quality experience.
