Event Description

Inglewood Open Studios exposes the community to local artists and art professionals!  Visitors are invited to tour private artist working spaces and enjoy art created in all media–drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed-media, photography, print making, installation, video and performance. Some spaces will also host events such as workshops and talks – schedules with tour maps will be available at all tour locations. The weekend kicks off with an artists reception at Residency Gallery in Downtown Inglewood on Friday, November 9 at 5:00 pm.

Saturday and Sunday Open Studio events are 12:00-5:00 pm.

Free shuttle transportation will be provided on Saturday and Sunday by Inglewood Open Studios sponsor, The City of Inglewood. Download map at inglewoodopenstudios.com for information on routes.

 New for 2018: La Tijera Village will sponsor a Family Friendly Interactive Art Event at the District 2 Community Center, at 1201 S. La Tijera Bl., Inglewood, CA. 90302. Planned activities include a ceramics workshop, painting, live music and a costumes tent for creative free playtime and opportunities for photos. The Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles will be on site to greet visitors and assist with workshops.
