‘The Meeting’ is a 1987 American play by Jeff Stetson about an imaginary meeting between Malcolm X and Martin Luther King, Jr. in 1965 in a hotel in Harlem during the height of the Civil Rights Movement. Is it possible that they could have been friends despite their differences? And what might have happened to the civil rights movement if they had joined forces? These and many other questions are explored in this spirited and charged drama. Directed by Lorenzo Frank
