Brooklyn Deli & Mini Market was started by husband and wife, Hakeem & Remmi. Living in New York, but wanting to escape the cold, the two moved to Los Angeles in 2008. By 2012, they felt that had they had enough expertise to open a business. With enough research, planning, conferences and certifications, thier dream was realized 2 years later in September of 2014.
The ultimate goal is to “spread love the Brooklyn way”. The love extends to the environment too. In efforts to reduce their carbon footprint, they recycle and use forks made from corn, which are biodegradeable! Napkins are made from post consumer recycled content. Their sole focus during the day is “Simply putting love into everything!”
