Join activist, educator, and author DeRay Mckesson speaking on his journey from middle school math teacher to acclaimed civil rights leader and police reform advocate. DeRay will share the lessons he learned from the streets of Ferguson, the jail cells of Baton Rouge, and the West Wing of the White House.
In conversation with Margarita Luna, DeRay will answer questions about the future of community organizing, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Black and Brown communities, and the possibility of ending police violence in the United States.
