In recognition of May 19th as being the 97th Birthday Celebration of Minister el Hajj Malik el-Shabazz – Malcolm X, we are hosting an event on Saturday, May 21st in Leimert Park Village (aka “AfricaTown” and the “Black Arts Village”) in Los Angeles:
What: The 17th Annual Malcolm X Festival
Theme: “We Shall Overcome: By Any Means Necessary”
When: Saturday, May 21, 2022; 12 noon – 6:00 pm
Where: Leimert Park Village, 4305 Degnan Boulevard, LA, CA 90008
