The African American Cultural Center of Long Beach invites you, your family and friends of the diaspora to celebrate Kwanzaa with an emphasis on the two principles of: Kujichagalia (Self-determination) and Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility.)
The two day annual festival and community celebration will feature candle lighting ceremonies each day along with multiple activities for kids including storytelling, a Black doll exhibit and a children’s activity corner. There will be cultural inspiration for all in the form of West African drumming and dancing, a Black artist’s showcase and an African marketplace. You don’t want to miss this exuberant event!
