In this weekly IG live series, MoAD’s Chef-in-Residence Bryant Terry will talk to noted creatives of African descent (farmers, chefs, authors, activists, entrepreneurs, and the like) about how they have been navigating work and life during the stay-at-home order.
Monifa Dayo is a culinary advocate, humanitarian, writer and chef. She has roots in Chicago while growing up in Oakland California. She is the proprietor of a quaint eatery in Oakland called The Supperclub. Dayo has worked with and for some of the top culinary professionals globally not to mention her latest expressions of recipe developing, food styling and consulting work can be found in the acclaimed book Vegetable Kingdom by the noted Bryant Terry.
As the inaugural Chef-in-Residence at the Museum of the African Diaspora in San Francisco, Bryant Terry creates programming that celebrates the intersection of food, farming, health, activism, art, culture, and the African Diaspora.
