The Mary Ann Wright Foundation in collaboration with MJ-Med Spa and Ask Illya present Freedom Talk 2019, a networking event as well as a private screening of the movie “Harriet” followed by a panel discussion. The goal of this event is to have a candid conversation and discussion about the inspirational life of iconic American freedom fighter Harriet Tubman. The mission is to address her courage, ingenuity and tenacity which led her to free hundreds of slaves. This interactive dialogue will explore how this American hero changed the course of history and how her journey continues to transport, energize and inspire us today.
Confirmed panelists for Freedom Talk 2019 are Dr. Jeshana Avent-Johnson, Clinical Psychologist; Scott Hebert, Photographer/Producer; Big P Wee, DJ; Eleanor Wallace, LA County 2005 Teacher of the Year; Dr. Donald Grant Jr., Clinical Psychologist and Wendy Talley, Licensed Clinical Social Worker. The panel will be moderated by Clifton Moseley, host and founder of the We Luvv Rare Grooves podcast.
