Event Description

HBCU Buzz and Thurgood Marshall College Fund present an HBCU Movie Night exclusive virtual screening of Lionsgate’s horror thriller ANTEBELLUM. Following the screening of this highly-anticipated film, there will be a rare Q+A with Janelle Monáe herself.

ANTEBELLUM is a mind-bending tale of how our past can haunt our future. Janelle Monáe’s character Veronica Henley seems to be a woman who has it all. She is a successful author, who somehow gracefully makes the time to keep up with both her girlfriends and her picture-perfect family. Unexpectedly she finds herself trapped in a horrifying reality and must uncover the terrifying mystery before it’s too late. Somehow, she has been chosen.

Approximately one hour before your screening start time, you will receive your link to access the screening via email. Space is limited to view the screening, and availability is first come, first served to those that click on the link once sent.
