Event Description
Whether leading his own group, or singing with Kamasi Washington, Mark de Clive-Lowe, or Carlos Niño, vocalist and composer Dwight Trible prizes adventure and modernity. His remarkable career has included collaboration with musicians ranging from Bobby Hutcherson to Charles Lloyd to Harry Belafonte. He was the vocalist with the Pharaoh Sanders Quartet and is the vocal director of the Horace Tapscott Pan Afrikan Peoples Arkestra. Dwight is also Executive Director of the famed World Stage in Leimert Park.
Jazz at LACMA is free and open to all. Seating is limited and first come, first served. Visitors are encouraged to wear face masks in all indoor spaces including restrooms.
