Jazz on the Grass

The Compton Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is excited to present and host the 2nd Annual Jazz on the Grass community concert in the City of Compton! This live fundraising event will be emceed by radio personality Aundrae Russell of KJLH featuring the soulful and stirring sounds of Mariea Antoinette, Sabrina Barnes, Mark Felton and many more!

In between music sets, you can groove to the smooth tunes of DJ Ron C on the 1’s and 2’s while you get your in retail therapy on at the vendor marketplace and your grub on at your favorite local food trucks (at an additional cost). Of course, you are welcome to bring your own meals, snacks, and beverages (no alcohol), but trust – we’ve got you covered! This collective of musical talent, good eats, and community engagement will undoubtedly be a vibe!

Proceeds from Jazz on the Grass will benefit the Delta Sigma Theta scholarship fund(s), youth programs, and community projects.
