New York Times bestselling author Kwame Alexander, who is also the author and showrunner for the new Disney+ series The Crossover, is best known for his numerous, award-winning books for children and youths.

Kwame will be in conversation with Joy Bryant, a Bronx born, Yale dropout who left school to become a fashion model. She eventually found her way to Hollywood, where she’s enjoyed a 20-year career as an actor in film and television, most notably on NBC’s PARENTHOOD and most recently on Ava Duvernay’s CHERISH THE DAY.
