Greetings film lovers! Black Hollywood Education & Resource Center – BHERCFounder and Executive Director, Sandra Evers-Manly is excited to announce their first, online film festival.   Plan now to sign-up and join in this year, for the virtual,  27th Annual Sistas Are Doin’ It for Themselves Film Festival!

This is a two-day event bringing you seven phenomenal films helmed by exceptional female filmmakers. To join in visit to purchase tickets.

Your ticket provides an all access pass to view the films on May 23rd, at 12:00pm PST until 5:00pm PST, on May 24th. You will also receive access to a live Q&A with the filmmakers via Zoom on May 24th at 6:00pm.

May 24 – 6:00 pm – 7:30pm Q&A with Filmmakers via Zoom

BHERC spotlights shorts created by female filmmakers of African-American descent (Black Women).  This screening and dialogue is an opportunity for emerging African American female Directors to showcase their skills, talent and vision through film screenings, while giving the audience a chance to view and discuss the artistry, passion and sacrifice involved in the independent film making process.
