In 2015, TEDxCrenshaw was founded to connect South Los Angeles residents, to build networking opportunities and to strengthen and engage the surrounding community.
This new decade brings creative ways to think and work towards a healthier America. Join TedxCrenshaw as we explore health in technology, entertainment and design. Speakers include Zoanne Clack, MD, Executive Producer at ABC-TV, Rachgel Ceasar, Ph.D. Founder, Culture of Health+Tech Consulting and Lauryn Nwankpa, Head of Social Impact Headspace.
An independently organized event of TED, TEDxCrenshaw is a local conference that aims to activate members of the South Los Angeles community by creating a space to connect, spread ideas, spark conversation, and to address the ongoing evolution in and around the Crenshaw area. In just 5 years, TEDxCrenshaw has reached over 1 million viewers, featured over 30 speakers, and has engaged over 600 local South LA residents in person.
