Headlining the show is The Brothers Johnson, best known for their hits Strawberry Letter 23 and Get the Funk Out Ma Face, the group achieved their greatest success from the mid-1970s to early 1980s, with three singles topping the R&B charts,

Joining them is soul and R&B group Rose Royce. They are best known for several hit singles during the 1970s including “Car Wash”, “I Wanna Get Next to You”, “I’m Going Down”, “Wishing on a Star”, and “Love Don’t Live Here Anymore”.
Funk band the Ohio Players achieved the height of their popularity in the 1970s with their monster hits “Fire” and “Love Rollercoaster,”  They also make a mark with their memorable erotic album covers that featured nude or nearly nude women.
