3:00 PM To 5:00 PM

Online: 6:00-8:00 pm ET

Event Description

A Xenogenesis is something that is unlike either or any of its parents. The moment that we are in is calling for originality! Science Fiction author Octavia E. Butler has left us stories to spark our imaginations and Charlyn Griffith-Oro of the Richmond Art Center wants to explore science fiction and multimedia making with YOU!

It´s important more than ever to stretch your imagination. This class incorporates guided meditation, prompted sketch journaling, collage and sculpture based making. Charlyn encourages participants to begin saving any sturdy recyclable materials, along with all the paper you can collect! Put those old magazines and long CVS receipts to use!

Classes held on Thursdays through November 19

Suggested ages 16-18
