Jackfruit Cafe is a new restaurant on Crenshaw Blvd. serving Vegan Dishes created using Jackfruit and other fruits and veggies. Comedian Angela Means, best known for portraying Felicia in the film “Friday,” opened the restaurant to provide healthy food options in South Los Angeles: “We just wanted to create a healthy eatery in the hood, with some good tasting whole foods. We love cooking our cuisine with Jackfruit and are able to mimic a lot of your favorite non vegan dishes.”
Jackfruit Cafe is located inside of King’s Donuts at 2959 Crenshaw Blvd.
