ART AS ACTIVISM: A DIGITAL NEW MEDIA DIALOGUE ON RACE, POLITICS, & THE NEW CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT IN AMERICA.

National Women’s History Month. Part One.
Utilizing the medium of documentary films, this three part series will bear witness to the most engaging, entertaining and educational new media projects from the 2016-2017 season — And Still I Rise ( Maya Angelou); I Am Not Your Negro (James Baldwin); and 13th ( Ava DuVernay). The inter-generational film series will be followed by an interactive dialogue with special guests, students, faculty and community activists.
