Join the Athens Westmont Section of the National Council of Negro Women, Incorporated for its 6th Annual Black History Program. From Africa to America, African-American History is all around us. Learn about our history, including important figures who made history in Los Angeles, as we travel through time by way of character reenactments, song, live jazz and spoken word. This event will be a sure sell out, so get your tickets NOW!

Proceeds provide funding for the projects and programs for the Athens Westmont Section.

The National Council of Negro Women is a coalition comprised of 200 community-based sections in 32 states and 38 national organizational affiliates that works to enlighten and inspire more than 3,000,000 women and men. Its mission is to lead, advocate for and empower women of African descent, their families and communities.
