Event Description

Birthplace & Birthright Part 1: Bases for Analysis

In our next series, we’ll take a look at the dynamics of Micronationalism from ideological, practical and historical perspectives. When we identify and align with the agendas of the nation-states in which we were born, do we gain? Taking this path, in what ways do we/ might we liberate and empower ourselves? In the first installment of Birthplace & Birthright, we’ll present a conceptual framework we think useful to enriching our understanding of Micronationalism.

CALL TO ACTION: DEFEND AFIBA

Simply put,  AFIBA is facing an eviction threat.  In the second half of our program, we will welcome Jabari Jumaane, 20-year Director of the AFIBA Center, as he explains the situation in depth, offers a status report and suggests moves forward.
