The Resiliency Training Team empowers teen boys with “REAL” Life Skills to navigate the world.
Youth will participate in facilitated group discussions ranging from communication with adults, role-playing with real Law Enforcement officers, learning how to walk away alive from stops, how to handle Implied Bias and harassment encounters, and more.
This is NOT school! We are providing REAL life skills, fun activities, and academic preparation.
Boys ages 12-17 are welcome.
The Resiliency Training program includes:
– Wellness/Mindfulness Strategies
– Stress Management
– Social Skills
– Academic Readiness workshops (STEM, Test Prep Strategies)
– Writing workshops/Grammar reviews
– Cultural field trips
– Nike-sponsored 3ON3 Basketball Tournament (optional)
Saturdays from 9am-1pm. Each module of the 6-week curriculum is a stand-alone lesson. It is okay to miss some sessions.
