A vocalist who calls her music “tropical pop,” Hollie Cook‘s songs are a light but refreshing blend of modern pop and vintage reggae influences, ideally suited to Cook’s supple, sensuous voice. Cook certainly has the genes for a career in music — her father Paul Cook was the drummer for the Sex Pistols, while her mother Jeni Cook was a backing vocalist for Culture Club. (If that’s not enough, Boy George is her godfather, and David Bowie once babysat her for an afternoon.)
Upstream has been spreading their message of love and positivity through their exhilarating Caribbean Music, namely, Reggae, Calypso, Soca and Steel Drum Music, for quite some time now.

Western Standard Time Ska Orchestra is Duke Ellington meets Jamaica: the big band jazz arrangements of the 1940s colliding with the sound of early Jamaica! It is jazz! It is Jamaican jazz! These extraordinary musicians have taken Jamaican music, added big band jazz arrangements, and created a sound unique unto itself. Western Standard Time Ska Orchestra is the only one of its kind in the whole U.S. and one of only a few in the entire world.
